Secretary General: William Juppenlatz

William Juppenlatz is a senior studying History and Economics. He has been a member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since his Freshman year. In that time he has staffed several committees, and most recently served as Under Secretary for Crisis and Committee Development at PUNC X. Apart from PSIADA, he has served as Vice President for Strategic Planning of Penn State’s UN Campus Advocates, a group working to promote the work and goals of the UN. William is excited to welcome all of you to PUNC!

Chief of Staff: Kayla Wendt

Kayla Wendt is a Junior majoring in International Politics and History here at Penn State. She has been involved with the Penn State International Affairs and Debate association since her freshman year, currently serving as the Events Chair for the organization and previously having been the Director of Operations for PUNC X. Outside of PSIADA she is the Vice President for Membership of the UN Campus Advocates, an organization that seeks to promote the goals of the UN. She is incredibly excited to be involved with PUNC XI and hopes that all delegates will have an amazing experience attending PUNC XI!

USG for Conference Operations: Milan Liu

Milan is a sophomore hailing from State College. She is pursuing majors in International Politics and Geography, and a minor in Chinese. Milan likes maps, adventures, and coffee, and would probably rather be in the mountains. She’s been involved in Model UN since her sophomore year of high school, and serves on PSIADA’s executive board as the VP for Communications. Milan is very excited to be serving as PUNC XI’s Director of Conference Operations, and can’t wait to welcome you all to Happy Valley for the weekend!

USG for Crisis and Committee Development: Kelly Harrington

Kelly is a junior from Lansdale, PA studying International Relations. She spends a lot of her time doing work for PSIADA, but outside of that, she loves to play tennis and is involved with the alternative music club on campus. As Undersecretary General for Crisis Committees, Kelly oversees all of the committees and works with crisis directors and chairs to develop their committee ideas. PUNC XI will be Kelly’s fifth conference at Penn State, and she can’t wait to welcome the delegates!

Director of Logistics: Meghan McNicholas

Meghan is a sophomore from Radnor, PA majoring in International Politics and French Literature with minors in History and Arabic. She joined PSIADA at the start of her freshman year and since then has staffed both PUNC X and our high school conference PHUNC, as well as served as the Director of Logistics and Events for PHUNC V. Outside of PSIADA, she is involved with THON and Relay for Life. When she isn’t too busy trying to prevent logistical nightmares, Meghan spends her free time traveling, telling bad jokes and eating socially unacceptable amounts of ice cream. She is thrilled to welcome delegates to what will surely be the best PUNC yet and cannot wait to see all of the amazing things that the delegates accomplish!

Director of Marketing: Jack Mentch

Jack Mentch is a sophomore in the Schreyer Honors College majoring in electrical engineering with a minor in engineering entrepreneurship. He has been an active member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since fall of his freshman year, serving as a crisis staffer, co-chair, and chair. Outside of PSIADA, Jack enjoys participating in THON and contributing to the entrepreneurship culture of Penn State through Innoblue. He is excited to contribute to PUNC and hopes it can leave a lasting impact on delegates.

Director of Finances: Erfan Shakibaei

Erfan Shakibaei is a junior studying Finance from Berwyn, PA. He has been a member of the Penn State International Affairs and Debate Association since his freshman year and has had the opportunity to staff several conferences, most recently serving as a Chair for PUNC X and a Co-Chair for PHUNC IV, alongside being the Vice President of Finances for the organization. Apart from PSIADA, Erfan is the Vice President of Communications for the Smeal Student Council, a Professional Development Chair for the Sapphire Leadership Academic Program, and is a participant in Wall Street Boot Camp I and II. Beyond extracurriculars, he likes to stay active, travel, play rugby, and breakdance. Erfan started with Model UN in high school and is now excited to serve as the Director of Finances for PUNC XI and to welcome all of the delegates!

Director of Technology: Mihir Alve

Mihir Alve is a Sophomore from Malvern, PA. He is in the Schreyer Honors College majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Math. He has been a member of PSIADA since his freshman year and has served as a crisis director, chair, and staffer in the three conferences that he has staffed as well as the Director of Marketing for PHUNC V. When he’s not trying to figure out the WordPress mess behind putting this site in front of you, he is a member of the Association of Computing Machinery and an internationally focused living option called the Globe. He’s excited to be a part of the PUNC secretariat, and as long as you’re reading this right now, he’s done his job!
